Black and white photo of the gymatic series taken at Métis gardens by Lawrence Sabella. Printed on matte photo paper.
This photo was taken at Villa Estevan from the Métis gardens, this time in the restaurant of the villa.
"Estevan" was the name of Telegraphic code used by Sir George Stephen, owner of the places, president and founder of the Railway Canadian Pacific during confidential communications.
In this picture, the door ajar captures the same essence of mystery that could have contained the press releases of Sir George Stephen.
The fantomatic series is inspired by fractions of seconds where space space seems to superimpose between the present and the experience of a particular place.
